Meet Fay Thornhill, one of the talented women shaping the homes of our social housing customers. As a Kitchen Designer, her role blends creativity, precision, and problem-solving to deliver kitchens that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Here’s what a typical day looks like for Fay:
☕ 7:00 AM – Wake up and start the day with a cup of tea
🍽 7:30 AM – Get ready and have breakfast
📧 8:00 AM – Check emails before heading out to appointments
🏡 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Complete kitchen surveys for the day (whether it’s a vacant property or an occupied home)
🍽 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM – Lunch break & catching up on urgent emails
💻 2:00 PM – Head home to tackle admin work:
✅ Checking emails
✅ Drawing up kitchen plans
✅ Ordering kitchens & bathrooms
✅ Chasing outstanding surveys to get booked in
🕠 4:30 PM – Log off for the day
🐶 5:00 PM – Take the dog for a walk
🍽 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Dinner time
🛋 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Unwind and recharge for another busy day ahead
